Amber Barnes

Amber Barnes helps companies maximize human performance. She works with leaders, followers and teams to facilitate all-in engagement with themselves, others, and their environment. Her passion lies in rehumanizing the workplace in service of healthy, happy, and engaged communities.

Amber has worked with companies like Adobe, MetLife, Microsoft, Symantec, Patagonia, and Intuit. She also works with fast growing small to medium sized businesses, universities, and non-profits. Amber is the co-author of Rising Above the Glass Ceiling, which was featured in T&D Magazine in January 2013. She was selected to speak at the 2013 International ASTD Conference.

Her formal education includes a Master of Science in Organization Development and a Bachelor of Science in Education. Amber received her coaching certifications from the Coaches Training Institute and the International Coaching Federation. She is also certified in the Daring Way™ method, Situational Leadership II™ and a host of psychometric assessments and organizational insight instruments.

Amber is a native Nevadan who currently lives in Reno with her husband Jason, and their two labs, Guinness and Finn. She is an avid outdoorswoman and aspiring yogi. She serves on the board of directors for the Northern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen and is actively involved with Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada.
