Described by her clients as “a gifted coach and facilitator who is both intuitive and pragmatic,” Rachel Karu brings more than 19 years of Human Resources, training, coaching, facilitating and speaking experiences to support her clients to achieve their goals. Previously, Rachel was Manager of Training and Organizational Development at Easton Sports, where she built a department and corporate university from the ground up, developed and facilitated multiple training courses and implemented organizational development and training activities for the company’s numerous international locations.

Rachel was also Regional Human Resources Manager at EMI Music Distribution. Rachel’s clients include some of the country’s largest organizations, such as Mattel, MTV Networks, Nestle, Activision, Raytheon, Citibank, US Navy, Warner Brothers, ATT Wireless and more.

She holds a Master of Science in Counseling for Business, Industry and Government, and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a specialization in Human Resources from California State University, Northridge. She achieved her Coaching Credential through the International Coaching Federation.  She received post-graduate training from the Coaches Training Institute and the College of Executive Coaching.

Rachel possesses certifications from Development Dimensions International as a Facilitator and in Targeted Selection, Lominger Inc. in Competency Implementation, Franklin-Covey – What Matter’s Most (Time Management), Lee Hecht Harrison as an Outplacement Facilitator, Myers Briggs Type Assessment Qualification, and the Personal Strengths Publishing’s Strength Deployment Inventory Facilitator (Communication Style Assessment Tool).

Rachel also serves as the chairperson for the American Society of Training and Development’s Westside special division.
